Why are photographers expected to include moving image?

This is the question for our group project.

I have briefly researched some photographers who also use moving image in different ways. I will contact them with tailor-made questions relating to their practice and experience.

I don't know if I will contact them or not as I don't expect a reply from them as they are quite high-profile and I expect, very busy, however I will research them more in depth.
